Workshop Team Leader

Hourly rate:
£10.50/hr


Hours:7am - 4:30pm Mon - Thursday

7am - 2pm Friday


Immediate start

Comton Group are pleased to be recruiting for a Workshop Team Leader on behalf of their Engineering & Manufacturing client in Smethwick

Key Responsibilities

  • Looking after materials within the workshop
  • Ensuring staff are fully stocked with materials they need
  • Managing material levels and liaising with management
  • Checking quality of finished product
  • Recording stock levels

What we require from you

  • Manufacturing/ engineering background
  • Forklift experience (Ideal)
  • Overhead crane experience (Ideal)
  • Experience with a team leader / supervisor role (preferable)
  • Ability to learn and grow within the company
  • Ability to identify issues and liaise with other departments
  • Good communicator
  • Ability to commute to Smethwick on a daily basis

Job Type:
Permanent


Salary:
£10.50-£11.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Smethwick: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Manufacturing: 1 year (required)
