I am currently working with a key NHS client and am seeking a strong Deputy Financial Controller on an interim basis.

The purpose of this exciting experience is to assist the Financial Controller in the production of annual accounts, monthly Financial Performance returns and associated legal, statutory and management reporting to various government organisations.

You will need o assist the Financial Controller in all aspects of cash management at the Trust.

To engender - by example - a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department, constantly striving for process improvement underpinned.

You will work closely and support the FC in the maintenance and control of the Trust's sales and purchase ledgers, cash management systems, fixed asset register, VAT and Charitable Funds and associated procedures, control accounts, bank reconciliation and other systems to ensure that transactions are properly incurred and accounted for ensuring local and national performance standards are achieved.

You will support the Financial Controller in the preparation of Finance Committee, Audit Committee and Trust Board reports as advised with specific responsibility for the preparation of details as required on the trial balance, receipts and payments, Statement of Financial Position and cash flows in accordance with the agreed timetable.
