?A great new opportunity has arisen to join our Finance Team. In this newly created position, you will report to the Management Account, and be responsible for the Sales Ledger function and supporting the finance department so we can effectively serve our members.
The Accounts Assistants Key Tasks:
- Manage Accounts inbox daily
- Save daily bank statements, identify receipts through various sources
- Live and Pay invoices, import into Sage
- Create and review Sage Sales Ledger accounts and ensure member details are aligned with inhouse CRM
- Ownership of the Direct Debit process
- Reconcile Direct Debit reports monthly
- Review Sales Ledger
- Reconcile Sales Ledger at month end
- Banking of cheques received in post
- Review the monthly journals posted report and reconcile to month end journals documentation
- Responsibility for Sales Ledger of Subsidiary Company
- Cross train and provide holiday cover for the Purchase Ledger function
