    Description
    RECRUITMENT is working in partnership with a logistics business to assist in their search for an Administration Controller in Harwich.

    You will join the Operations Centre as an Administration Controller. The role holder will oversee and manage the administration, including the rostering of all staff within the Operations Centre while providing direct support to our Shift Manager to ensure the Operations Centre is ran to the highest efficiency.

    Key Requirements

  • Ensure compliance to all policies, procedures, standard operating practices, making recommendations for continuous improvement and implementing changes.
  • Manage the administration for the Operations Centre, paying particular attention to the welfare of staff and the level of service to the customer.
  • Ensure that staff are rostered to cover the roles and functions of the Operations Centre.
  • Effectively manage the issuing of 'Restricted Area' passes, both temporary, permanent and any annual parking permits, ensuring that any applicable charges are raised.
  • Who are we looking for?

  • Experience and knowledge required of Port Operations.
  • Knowledge in claims procedures.
  • Experience and knowledge in the day to day running of operations.
  • Ability to produce and manage working rosters.
  • Ideally Educated to A Level standard or hold and equivalent level qualification.
