    Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital The Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital is situated next to the Nuffield Health Devonshire Gym, in Derriford, Plymouth and we have been part of the Plymouth community since 1971. We have 3 main theatres - 2 laminar flow and 1 digital, a fully JAG accredited endoscopy suite, a 35-bedded ward with one 4 bedded bay and one 2 bedded bay. Our outpatients department has 12 consulting rooms with a dedicated ophthalmology suite and ENT service. We carry out treatment under a range of specialities including Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery and Neurosurgery. As a Radiographer, you will:

  • Help deliver our high-quality diagnostic imaging service
  • Experience a varied caseload in the department, on the ward and in theatre
  • Work with leading practitioners and new practices, equipment and facilities

  • To succeed as a Radiographer you will have;
  • High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail
  • A caring nature - to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy
  • A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • A postgraduate qualification in an area of specialization
  • Radiation Protection Supervisor training and/ or qualification are desirable
  • Post registration experience relevant to the role
  • Excellent communication and team working abilities
