Description
Our client, a highly respected Higher Education establishment based in High Blantyre, require a number of Senior Exam Invigilators to cover the current exam diet between 24th April and 3rd May.
Morning and afternoon shifts are offered between 9.15pm Monday to Friday. 43 per hour.
Under the supervision of the University Registry staff responsible for the co-ordination and organisation of the examinations, you will be responsible for the operation of the examinations within a designated room including the supervision of the standard invigilators allocated to the appropriate examination venue.
Ensure that University procedures/instructions are carried out in the event of a fire alarm or first aid requirement
Complete the Senior Invigilators Report Form at the end of each examination and Invigilator's attendance sheet
Report any relevant matters e.g. disciplinary to the senior staff of the Registry
Undertake general clerical duties such as checking examination results on letters to students, disseminating letters to appropriate staff for further action, filing and photocopyingKey Skills and Requirements:
A good general education
Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing and the ability to deal with staff and students in a polite and courteous manner
