Multi Skilled Carpenter

Midlands based but nationwide travel

Salary to £33,500 DOE, plus vehicle, travel paid door to door and package

Permanent Full Time

We are working with a growing and highly reputable facilities management contractor who are a genuinely fantastic company to work for, look after their staff well and have established and stable contracts nationwide.

As a Multi Skilled Carpenter, your main responsibilities will be;

Duties and Responsibilities

Carrying out a wide range of carpentry as well as building maintenance and fabric works
Works involve Carpentry as well as basic plumbing (changing taps, waste pipe work, unblocking toilets, toilet repairs, water leaks.) carpentry works (door closures, replacing doors/door frames, door furntiure, fire door maintenance) flooring works (self levelling, temporary repairs to floors to make safe, installation of checker plate) basic electrical (replacing lamps, like for like light fittings) roofing repairs (temporary repairs only)
Working mobile which could be nationwide
Working on a range of commercial sites
You will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
Providing excellent customer service when on site.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for our Fabric Engineer role;

You will be an experienced all round fabric/building maintenance engineer
You will be biased to/experienced in Carpentry
You will have worked on commercial sites
You will be ideally based in the Midlands but must be happy with nationwide travel
