Are you looking for a new opportunity that will utilise your commercial skill-set?

Transparent is proud to support this world leading business in the recruitment of a Commercial Finance Manager.


Working closely with the Head of Commercial Finance, your role will be the 'eyes and ears' of the business from a finance perspective.

You will be called upon to use your business partnering skills to monitor and report on contracts and projects, reportingon revenue and percentage completion.


Key duties:

  • Ownership of business unit finances and working capital
  • Providing detailed analysis on projects
  • Providing forecasts for review by senior management
  • Identifying financial risk and opportunities on projects
  • Preparing the month end flash reports for review by the business unit
  • Supporting the overall finance team with the preparation of the monthly MI pack
  • Completing periodic forecasting including the annual budget; P&L and cash flow
  • Supporting the operational leads with billing requirements, to include the approval of sales invoicing

The Person:

  • ACCA/CIMA qualified, or part qualified (actively studying)
  • Engineering/construction/infrastructure background
  • Experience of accounting for complex contracts
  • Experience of revenue recognition/percentage completion
  • Analytical and commercial mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
