About the RoleColne Medical Centre is looking for a qualified dispenser to join our friendly but busy team working in our dispensary. Colne Medical Centre has two branches and this role will be based at the Alresford branch. The role is for 10-15 hours per week with the potential for additional hours in the future. The post holder may, on occasion, be required to provide extra dispensary cover during holidays or sickness.
The role is dealing with all aspects of the dispensary including:

About the CandidateThis role requires the successful candidate to be qualified to NVQ level 2 in dispensing. The successful candidate will also be able to deal sensitively with any patient complaints directing them to the dispensary manager, and to deal with outside agencies and ICB representatives where appropriate. The person will have basic IT skills, good organisational skills and the ability to work alone with confidence.
Training will be given on our clinical system (EMIS Web).
