    Description
    Job Description We are looking for an experienced Estates And Facilities Technician to join a state-of-the-art facility in Cambridge. A very attractive package is attached to this role.

    As a Maintenance Technician your duties will include:
    Responsible as part of a team, for the servicing and repair of 3 buildings in Cambridge.
    To provide PPM and RM to our HVAC plant and our other services.
    Undertake Works on behalf of the department.
    Supervise External contractors and Service Providers.
    Organise and communicate with specific departments on Maintenance and Project works.
    Monitor, react to, and control the facilities BMS.
    Monitor and manage the operation of our Steam Boilers and systems.
    Undertake shared "Call-Out" duties when Off-Site.
    Assist in mentoring our Apprentices.
    Interact and communicate effectively with all other members of staff.
    Interact and communicate effectively with all external service providers.

    As our Maintenance Technician you will:
    Have a recognised Electrical or Mechanical qualification or have completed an apprenticeship.
    Have experience working with responsibilities similar to those listed above.
    Have a good working knowledge of engineering services and building maintenance.
    Understand work related H&S risks and how to mitigate against these risks.
    Have experience of using a BMS.
    Have an understanding of HVAC systems.
    Be competent with IT packages such as Microsoft Office.
    Be competent with using handheld "smart" devices such as Phones and Tablets.
    Communicate effectively and respectfully with all users, staff and external service providers.
    Have excellent interpersonal skills.
    Be adept at providing advice and solutions to others in a respectful way.
