Assist the manager ahead of the audit booking in preparing the assignmentSet up the audit file
Assign audit work to your team members
Draft an initial set of financial statementsTake ownership for issues as and when they arise
Update financial statements as necessary
Attend closing meeting to explain any issuesUpdate the draft accounts, management letter and other reporting documents following
Close the process to final signing and filing of accounts
Ensure tax return and any other submissions required are completedThis position will also involve an emphasis on supporting junior members of the team as well as taking
ACA / ACCA fully qualified
Practical work experience from a UK firm
Approachable leader for juniors to work with
Ability to multi task and handle more than one audit file at a time
