**The Company
**Able Bridge Recruitment are thrilled to be working with an innovative and rapidly growing FinTech business who are based in Edinburgh. The organisation have approached us to support them in the recruitment of a senior analyst to work within their treasuryteam.

The organisation is a relative newcomer to the FinTech industry and their strategy has been to operate well below the radar to emerge as a global player in the market

The finance team currently operate in a lean capacity but with several new roles signed off, it is clear intent that the company are planning a rapid expansion including a shared service.

**The Responsibilities
**The purpose of this role is to provide financial modelling support to the treasury team to ensure financial planning is optimised. There are specific complexities within our clients business model and various sub transactions that will take place fromout clients clients. As such this role is to ensure virtual transactions are solvent.

**On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
**You will run daily, weekly and monthly assumptive models to plan capital liquidity.
Review models to asses the accuracy of financial models and work with operational stakeholders to update assumptions.
Review data and critically analysis the data sets, reconcile information for true point of reference.
Proactively analysis data sets to ensure financial risks are minimised.
Review control frameworks and investigate financial risk warnings.

Work with the business directly and indirectly in the implementation of future processes, controls and competent models to reduce risk.

Run and manage the weekly cash summary ensuring key movements are documented and the bank accounts are reconciled appropriately.

**The Requirements
**Being a professionally qualified accountant is not an occupational requirement for this role, however it would be a distinct advantage. If you are not a qualified accountant we would be seeking a treasury qualification. Advanced financial modellingexperience is vital and any applicant who does not have demonstrable financial modelling experience will discounted. Our client is a rapidly growing and has an exceptionally fast paced culture, as such, we are seeking an individual who has an adaptive andreactive disposition. The environment is not for everyone and those who want a structured, routine role that is highly prescribed would probably struggle within this post.
