    Description
    Algreen is the pioneer of renewable innovators and provides sustainable product solutions using biobased materials. Based on sustainable chemical innovation, we have developed alternative products that can replace plastics and unsustainable fossil products. We aim to ensure the most decarbonised and sustainable solutions to any petrol-based chemicals.

    We have developed biobased, sustainable petrochemical alternatives and are commercialising in various industries such as medical, fashion, packaging, furniture and construction markets.

    We are looking for high quality graduates (background in Chemistry or Similar).

    These roles require motivated and enthusiastic individuals wanting to work within the sustainable chemistry industry, full training will be provided to the right candidates who can expect a fulfilling and rewarding career path.

    As a Chemical Scientist, you will be primarily laboratory-based, working with our highly skilled team to ensure the chemical development utilising NMR, GPC, FTIR, XRD, DSC, etc.

    and delivered within scheduled timeframes.

    The team work on a broad range of molecule types including monomers development, polymer synthesis and depolymerization, and polymer/organic catalysis.

    You will be involved with the development and validation of the chemical innovations and will also prepare chemical samples upon our customer requirements.

    Job Requirements:
    A good scientific degree (Chemistry or similar).A good background in methodology development in delivering polymer emulsion is desirable.
    Previous experience with green catalysis is a significant advantage.
    Experience with NMR, GPC, FTIR, XRD, DSC, etc.
    The candidate will be encouraged to work independently and participate in collaborations. Furthermore, the applicants are able to present scientific excellence and be highly motivated, ambitious, and hard-working.

    Mature, calm and confident in all internal and external communication and confident in client/partner communication both in-person and via virtual.

    Pragmatic and have a logical approach to work with very high attention to detail.
    Quality of output should be front of mind and they should really care about delivering this for the client.
    To be driven to deliver projects on budget and on time.
