Description

This role lends itself to a hardworking individual that will perform routine grounds keeping, building maintenance tasks and co-ordination of onsite contractors as required, on a private estate and grounds

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct general grounds maintenance such as but not limited to:

Grass cutting
Edge trimming
Trimming foliage/bushes
Control weeds
Strimming
Maintain clear pathways during ice and snow
Clear litter
Maintain pathways and parking areas

Conduct general building maintenance tasks
_(within skill level)_ such as but not limited to:

Changing light bulbs
Painting and decorating
Basic plumbing, including unblocking sinks, toilets and drainage
Basic Joinery
Basic electrical maintenance
PAT Testing
Conduct repairs on doors and roller shutters
Assemble furniture and relocate when required
Conduct reactive and planned maintenance as required
Arranging for contractors to attend site for maintenance activities
Use of online Maintenance systems
Using dynamic risk assessments
Completion of Maintenance / Facilities related H&S Action points and initiatives
Yard waste management duties.
Working at Height
MEWP operation

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

At least 5 years proven experience in maintenance.
Ability to use machinery and powered hand tools.
Ability to perform grounds maintenance task accurately and efficiently.
Current and clear driving license.
Good communication / interpersonal skills.
Understanding of health and safety rules and legislation specific to maintenance
