- Plan and deliver English lessons to a KS3 student.
- Understand and agree each learners starting point and skills development needs.
- Deal with learner's face to face in our academies in groups and also remotely as required.
- Comply with the Safeguarding, Prevent and Health and Safety Policies and be vigilant to potential concerns and risks at all times.
- Ensure targets are met and that lessons are tailored to meet the students needs and learning level.
- Higher level degree in English Literature/Language/Linguistics/creative writing.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills - experience in training delivery
- High standards of quality and efficiency.
- Ability to react to changing client/learner needs in fast paced environment.
- Self-starter, resourceful, autonomous – must be comfortable working alone.
- To give subject specialist Information, Advice, and Guidance to learners as part of teaching duties, including providing learners with advice on progression.
