Liaise
with Quality, Production Leaders, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering, Unit Leaders and Demand Management, to develop and deliver a pro-active and professional training capability which contributes towards the overall Operations strategy.


  • Establish and maintain training requirements to improve product quality and operators' flexibility.
  • Establish a skills auditing process and procedure.
  • Complete operators' skills audits to ensure product quality requirements achieved.
  • Working with the Production Management, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality and Demand Management to establish and monitor training plans and report progress on a monthly basis.
  • Agree and establish best practice procedures and work instructions.
  • Deliver all training directly to manufacturing operators.
  • Seek and gather information from management, employees and other departments regarding the effectiveness of completed training courses and constantly seek to improve.
  • Agree and establish a training effectiveness assessment process and procedure.
  • Facilitate and support continuous improvements within all manufacturing units and areas.
  • Work with manufacturing to establish and maintain a skills database.
  • Maintain and develop an effective training area.
