    Job Title: Junior Sister/Charge Nurse at Minor Injuries Clinic

    Are you ready to be part of a small, supportive team in Felixstowe that's all about delivering top-notch community healthcare services? Well, we're on the lookout for a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Minor Injuries Clinic!

    • Work at the community Minor Injuries Clinic providing professional nursing care
    • Get involved in wound care, phlebotomy, and leg ulcer clinics
    • Promote communication networks with patients and healthcare providers

    Contract Type:

    This is a part-time position with varying shifts throughout the week.

    Job Description:

    • Provide high-quality nursing care at the healthcare entrance point
    • Deliver clinical services including assessment, treatment, and patient discharge
    • Specialize in wound care, phlebotomy, and leg ulcer clinics
    • Lead and support junior staff
    • Contribute to service planning and development
    • Ensure clinical standards are met and maintained
    • Delegate when necessary in the absence of Service Manager

    Person Specification

    Education and Qualifications

    Essential

    • Current NMC registration
    • Documented evidence of up-to-date and evidence-based practice
    • Degree Level Education

    Desirable

    • Leg Ulcer Management
    • Tissue Viability expertise
    • Non-Medical Prescriber qualification
    • Nurse Practitioner background

    Experience

    Essential

    • Extensive post-registration experience
    • Autonomous practice experience in acute or primary care settings
    • Proficient in Minor Injury assessment and management, wound care, and phlebotomy

    Desirable

    • Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) experience

    Skills and Abilities

    • Strong literacy, numeracy, and accuracy standards
    • Commitment to Clinical governance
    • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
