A private leading GP practice in central London is looking for a Receptionist / Office Assistant, to join their small enthusiastic, professional, and fun team.

This post has become available due to the increase in demand and expansion of the practice, whichthey are looking for fill in a permanent basis, although they would also consider someone on a temporary basis initially or whilst they look to fill the role permanently.

It is imperative that you are someone who can provide outstanding customer service, haveprofessional appearance and deliver a "happy" and outgoing personality, ensuring that the best levels of patient service is provided.


SALARY ETC:

- £24k to £27k depending on experience + benefits

  • Central London
  • Hours 8:30am6pm Monday to Friday in the practice
  • Permanent, fulltime (would also consider someone on a temp basis whilst they look for a permanent person).
  • Start ASAP

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Excellent telephone manner & communications skills
  • Confident in dealing with demanding and high net worth individuals
  • Organisation skills and multitasking
  • Experience in Private Health Care
  • Good teamworking skills & attention to detail
  • Can maintain confidentiality
  • Multitasking and effective time management

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:


  • Opening the facilities in the morning and check the waiting room and consulting rooms are stocked up.
  • Front of House duties including; greeting patients on arrival, registering new patients and directing them to the waiting room, offering teas/coffees to patients arriving early
  • Answering the telephones, and screening purpose of the calls and dealing with requests or directing calls to the appropriate secretary/doctor.
  • Scanning of correspondence into patient information system and distributing to the relevant recipients.
  • Accurate message recording of prescription requests and directing to the appropriate secretary/doctor.
  • Prescription transmission to recipient.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the facilities throughout the day to ensure it is tidy.
  • Payment handling, generating invoices and assistance with debt collection
  • Bank deposits and end of Day banking
  • You will also be involved in working as a team, which all team members do, which will include; covering secretarial lunch breaks, errands, Franking and Post, Teas and Coffees to the GPs, etc.
