Our client are a rapidly expanding, market leading business based in the Manchester area.

The company are the UK leaders in their industry across a number of products with NPD in the pipeline to continue their growth.

Due to growing hugely over the last5 years through both organic channels and strong M&A focused activity, the business have created a new role to support the CFO.

This position will look after all M&A activity whilst also being the financial lead on one of the companies largest subsidiaries
- a great opportunity for someone who is looking to utilise their M&A experience but also broaden

Role:

Working with the CFO on M&A projects, taking a lead on M&A activity
Due diligence, review of IMs, modelling and forecasting for M&A
Liaising with external advisors, CEO and wider board lots of exposure
Attending internal meetings on prospective M&A activity with 23 acquisitions annually (minimum)
Liaising with the CEO on new acquisition activity, providing information required quickly
Be responsible for the financials of a subsidiary within the group, owning the profit centre
Managing P&L and balance sheet, month end reporting and reconciliations
Commercial analysis working with the Division Managers to understand cost drivers
Being the goto person for all M&A activity and general financial questions within the subsidiary

Experience:

ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
Experience of M&A including due diligence and M&A projects
Forward thinking, keen to learn and progress
