Supply Chain & Stock Management Administrator
CPL Activated Carbons is an award-winning environmental purification company with strengths in water filtration, renewable energy and air treatment. We are a rapidly growing business based on a circular economy model and strong technical capabilities, with sites across the UK, Europe and the United States.
We are looking for a Supply Chain & Stock Management Administrator to join the busy team at our Wigan office.
This varied role is a key part of our market-leading activated carbon business, controlling and measuring stock movement, providing office and sales support.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintaining all appropriate stock records, both manually and on accounting system.
- Timely and accurate recording of all production stocks.
- Ensuring correct invoices are raised for all stock and sales transactions.
- Checking delivery records from warehouse reports and allocating stock to warehouses.
- Monitoring purchase orders for divisional stocks and direct sales.
- Planning and liaising with external transport companies, suppliers and partners regarding deliveries.
- Dealing with daily issues including failed deliveries etc.
- Supporting and liaising with sales executives.
- Supporting the wider functions of the office during holidays and sickness.
- Ensuring paperwork is filed and saved correctly.
- Complying with all relevant aspects of ISO standards: 9001, 14001 and 4500
- Receiving and processing orders from customers, working to customer service objectives regarding on time and in full, order inputting and confirmation.
- Organising and communicating with suppliers and partners to achieve the maximum order efficiency.
- Liaising with Accounts, setting up customer accounts, credit checks.
- Entering and processing sales orders, purchase orders and amendments.
- Management of export, analysis and delivery documentation.

- Understanding of supply chain and stock movement processes.
- Experience in a similar role / office environment.
- Well organised and proactive with a logical approach to problem solving.
- High level of accuracy and numerical ability.
- Good IT skills and eagerness to learn new ones.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team; join in, be flexible and show initiative.
