    Job Description

    As the HSEQ Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), offering strategic guidance and oversight on Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) matters.

    In this role, you will provide direct line management to HSEQ Business Partners and On Account HSE Advisors, empowering them to implement best practices aligned with the OneISS Way framework.

    Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance health, safety, and environmental standards across the organisation.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Support, coach and mentor the Operating Unit SLT(s) and provide competent HSEQ advice
  • Analyse and collate audit outcomes, identifying areas for improvement within the OneISS Way
  • Lead particularly complex incident investigations on direction from the Head of HSEQ
  • Manage the performance and development of the HSEQ Business Partners and On Account HSEQ Advisors
  • Facilitate and govern the successful deployment of key HSEQ Strategic objectives such as the SafeChoice program, Permit to Work processes and the Lone Working Solution
  • Understand where the significant risk areas including statutory compliance, food safety and projects, exist and ensure these are targeted through proactive risk management
  • Live and breath Global and UK&I campaigns and initiatives including Safe Choice, Global HSE programmes and Wellbeing
  • Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Leading HSEQ improvements in a matrix organisation
  • Hard and Soft Facilities Management experience at a Senior level
  • Experienced leader with demonstrable experience of leading a team through a period of change
  • Show leadership in collaboration and thinking company wide for support
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Placemakers, customers and third parties
  • Proactive influencing skills at all levels of the business, which drive change
  • A passion for HSE and the ability to inspire a culture where HSEQ is a core value of everyday operations
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in occupational health and safety
  • Internal management system auditing qualification or experience to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001
  • Environmental Management Certificate (e.g. IEMA or NVQ level 3)
  • Food Safety Level 3
