This is an exciting new opportunity for someone with great interpersonal skills to train volunteers and staff across the Citizens Advice Lancashire West service.

Ideally you will have a training background and be able to support volunteers by tailoring training plans to progress volunteers through our bespoke generalist advice training modules.


An understanding of the challenges in supporting people of differing skill levels, learning styles and learning needs from a diverse range of backgrounds is central to this role.

The training Lead will support paid staff training provision and sourcing cost effective training for both paid and voluntary staff.

You should be confident in delivering training in small groups as well as providing one to one support and feedback.

This role looks after all training administration and training records for all staff and volunteers.


You should have excellent IT skills and be a self-motivated problem solver with creative ideas to help move the Charity forward by supporting our incoming volunteer capacity.

An understanding of training provision within a 3rd sector setting would be advantageous.


It is essential that you are able to support our diversity and equal opportunities policies and you should be confident in being able to challenge attitudes that would not fit in with our ethics.

most in need.

Car user is essential to meet the needs of the post.
