Description
I'm representing a highly renowned aerospace organisation who are looking for unlicenced Aircraft Mechanics to join them on a 6 month rolling contract basis.
Where? - Middle Wallop, UK, working full time on site.
How long? - 6 month rolling contract.
Rates? - £31 per hour inside IR35.
Experience? - Must have Chinook or military helicopter experience, ideally CH47.
Shift work? - No
Responsibilities -Will assemble, disassemble, and modify systems by making changes, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to fix issues or implement improvements.
Will conduct assembly, disassembly, or overhauls. Will configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.Will be skilled in troubleshooting complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and associated electrical systems to identify mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
Will validate and verify testing of systems and components.Will document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repair test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results).
Will collaborate with peers to perform tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle (e.g., jacking, towing system operations).
