Reed Accountancy is currently assisting a multi sited organisation in the Horsham area who are seeking a Trainee Finance Assistant to join their existing team.

This role will suit someone who is eager to secure a role within finance or who is looking forthere next step.


Reporting to the Financial Controller duties will include:


  • Assisting with the production of project accounting files
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Journals including accruals and prepayments
  • Processing purchase ledger, payment runs and reconciling supplier statements
  • Assisting with month and year end
  • Sales ledger and dealing with customers
  • Monthly reports
  • Adhoc finance tasks

Key requirements:


  • Self motivated, organised with a good attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Sage
  • Team player with an eagerness to learn
  • Strong communications skills
