Description

This role will be home based

Providing efficient and effective financial administration support


You will provide key support to the Head of Learning and Operations Manager with the financial administration for School of Financial Services and School of People and Skills Development programmes.

Tasks will include processing supplier and freelance invoicesand carrying out relevant administrative work to support the end-to-end delivery of programmes including resourcing and scheduling.


What you'll be doing

  • Checking, coding and logging a high volume of invoices from suppliers and freelancers to meet deadlines
  • Reporting on key financial information for budgeting and forecasting purposes
  • Logging accrual and prepayment information
  • Liaising with freelancers and suppliers to ensure that they are kept up to date on invoice status
  • Presenting key financial information to management
  • Registering learners on external systems that relate to finance related tasks i.e., professional qualification registrations.
  • Updating Freelance Engagement Documents for invoicing tracking purposes
  • Creating and improving finance related processes and general tracking

What we're looking for

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively manage client and internal stakeholder relationships, promptly responding to queries, ensuring expectations are managed
  • Ability to create and maintain accurate/accessible and organised documentation
  • Ability to communicate performance by producing all necessary reports in an effective and timely manner
  • Excellent attention to detail when producing programme documentation and data driven reports
  • Must be comfortable working within defined Key Performance Indicators and Service Levels
  • Proactive, highly motivated, and adaptable to change
  • Experience of processing invoices and reporting on financials
  • Ideally, you will have some experience of programme administration within an academic environment
  • Advanced Word and Excel skills
