- Ensure that all the products placed on the market by the Company, irrespective of its status as an economic operator (manufacturer, importer, distributor or authorised representatives) are safe for consumers to use.
- Responsible for goods and Engineering compliance by preventing non-compliance issues, developing and executing compliance programs, and reviewing (and in certain instances, producing) documentation.
- Collaborate with product development and project management teams, review design data, identify and propose solutions for product and Engineering non-compliance issues.
- Manage processes by isolating and resolving non-compliance issues; recommending product and process changes; initiating Engineering change orders.
- Research and uphold the regulatory standards that govern the company's equipment design and supply.
- Develop compliance plans by researching, analysing, selecting, and applying Engineering compliance concepts, approaches, techniques, and criteria.
- Maintain a registry of compliance by completing approval applications, preparing investigative reports, preparing and filing Declarations of Conformity / Declarations of Incorporation and maintaining a compliance database.
- Collate, create and maintain the templates for the design risk assessments in a company standard format.
- Liaise with customers, regulatory bodies, internal departments and suppliers on matters regarding applicable standards and compliance.

- Strong planning and organisational skills with ability to work to tight deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities
- Working knowledge of Spanish, Mandarin or Italian is an advantage, but not essential
- Engineering Degree - Production, Mechanical, Chemical or similar discipline
- 2+ years post graduate experience
- Knowledge of pressure vessels, pipework, compressors, pumps and refrigeration would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of CE / UKCA Marking, Machinery Safety Directive / Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008, Low-Voltage Directive / Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016, EMC Directive / Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 2016 , Pressure Equipment Directive / Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016, ATEX Directive / Equipment and Protective Systems Intended for use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2016, Ecodesign Directive / The Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products Regulations and associated implementing measures.
