We are looking for a practitioner who has an innovative approach to their work and is not afraid to think of new and interesting approaches to the support they offer. We are looking for a dedicated professional who will seek to invest in their own development alongside that provided by the school and will link practice to research and policy.
We are looking for a practitioner to work, initially, with pupils across Key Stage 2 but have Key Stage 1 and EYFS pupils in our Infant School; staff work across both schools to the benefit of all. You will support pupils to access the classroom environment, supporting both their academic achievement and their social achievements. Personal Development is a key driver through school, and we aim to support our pupils to make positive and respectful relationships with their peers. Class based support, one to one support and small group support is used to reduce barriers to learning and enable children to succeed.
Whether you are an experienced teaching assistant who has worked within specialist educational needs or someone who has exceptional vocational skills and a real drive to make a difference in children's lives, you must be able to provide our children with aspirations for their futures along with promoting a positive culture in everything you do.
