We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support an elderly gentleman, based in Lochmaben from 29th December - 5th January to allow his present personal assistant to take holidays.

The gentleman is also looking for a second personal assistant to cover every second weekend and holiday cover.

The support this gentleman requires is to assist with medication, transfers due to mobility issues, showering and dressing.

This would be variable hours but to cover the holidays it would be 28 hours per week and hours will be discussed at interview.

The gentleman's interests include watching the wildlife in the garden, television and chatting to friends and family

Working with this gentleman:
- £10.90 per hour

Experience of working with the elderly an advantage
Moving and assisting training an advantage
Friendly and patient and a good communicator
Flexible working
Own transport
