Our Local Authority client is looking for a Procurement Officer to operate the Supplier Adoption process.

The essential experience requirements are:

Experience of a Supplier Adoption Process using Proactis / R2P system / Agresso financial systems
There is a requirement for a high volume of transactions between these 3 systems which must be 100% accurate
There are various stages to the process which must be followed
Stage 1 Supplier Registration on Proactis detailed check and validation of supplier information and remedial action taken to resolve any issues, Stage 2 Supplier Registration on Proactis

- detailed check of supplier information and documentation (example insurance certificates and other documents which must be referenced back to the Client Requester or other member of the team or background checks on Suppliers,

Seek approval to proceed load data and information into R2P system and seek verification / take remedial action where there is a misalignment of data
Load data and information into Agresso and seek verification / take remedial action where there is a misalignment of data
Processing requirements as necessary to assist with the raising of the Purchase Order
Update Client and Supplier of any outstanding actions
Maintain meticulous and accurate records to identify the status of each Supplier Adoption action
Support the general finance team (and Requester) to ensure the raising of the Purchase Orders runs as smoothly as possible
