Sales Representative
Reports to:
Sales Manager/ Supervisor; business development department
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers and to maintain positive business relationships as to ensure future sales
- Reach out to potential customers through cold calling
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the customer database
- Coordinate sales effort with warehouse team members and other departments
- Act as a support to Sales Manager/ Supervisor and the sales department
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Experience required for role:
Essential
- 3 years of experience in sales within the logistic business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and persuading skills with solid arguments to prospective customers
- Broad knowledge of organisation and its services
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Work well under pressure
- Proficient IT skills (including MS packages)
UK driving licence:
- Excellent organisation skills, to plan the use of people and resources to meet deadlines
- The ability to monitor and control budgets
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills and the ability to make data based decisions
Desirable
- High school or higher education in business or related field
No fixed location
Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm
Salary:
£24,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
