    We are currently seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to cover the Bedfordshire region, including a limited number of sites in Northamptonshire.

    Reporting directly to the Health and Safety leadership team, you will support the implementation of the HSEQ strategy, IMS, and conduct regular on-site visits to assess and monitor health and safety standards.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent planning abilities, and a proactive mindset. They should also be client-focused, possess commercial acumen, and have a track record of delivering results within tight deadlines.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Liaise with clients and internal H&S team members
    Chair internal on-site H&S meetings
    Attend client H&S meetings
    Provide support to site teams on all H&S matters
    Review and improve safe systems of work
    Attend and advise during safe start meetings
    Manage day-to-day H&S activities on site
    Conduct workplace inspections and report findings
    Investigate accidents or incidents
    Manage on-site occupational health
    Coordinate training for project staff
    Contribute to the maintenance of ISO 45001

    Requirements:
    At least 2 years of experience in a busy site-based, muddy boots H&S role within the construction industry
    Excellent communication skills with experience in client-facing roles
    A team player with technical expertise and experience providing health and safety support in the construction and building services sectors
    Proficient in IT with strong report-writing abilities

    Desirable Qualifications:
    NEBOSH Construction or equivalent
    First aid training
