    Description
    Livingston Building Services are a leading provider of M&E Services, providing our clients with innovative M&E engineering solutions.

    We are looking to recruit an Experienced Mechanical Estimator with Ventilation / Fabrication knowledge and experience to work within our team.

    The role of Mechanical / Ventilation Estimator will assume overall responsibility for the following:

    Commence all relevant work in relation to receipt of a tender enquiry such as analysing the project, breaking out subcontractor and supplier enquiries, selecting suitable subcontractors and suppliers.

    Preparation of pricing documents and the formatting of these documents into the standard layout i.e. estimating software or traditional full analytical breakdown
    Undertake site surveys to analyse any potential risks and highlight as appropriate.
    Developing and maintaining a strong customer/supplier network
    Undertaking learning and development activities to enable improvement in personal performance effectiveness.
    Present Core time management, technical, planning and communication skills.

    The successful individual must be a strong team player with a positive with a flexible attitude will be a dedicated and results-driven estimator with a successful background in the achievement of profitable and quality-led tenders.

    This is a hybrid role, with time split between office and home working.

    You should have excellent communications skills as you will be required to express your opinions both in writing and verbally at internal and external meetings.

    hold a valid driving licence.
    be IT literate in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
    Capable of adapting to new software systems
    Have had experience in using Trimble Estimation Software or equivalent.
    Be a holder of a current CSCS card preferred.
