Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer - Support Analyst - IT Technician
Our client is looking to recruit the services of an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer on a permanent basis.

The role will be based in west central London, being part of a team responsible for day to day oversight and management of our client'sinfrastructure and the third party providers that deliver support for the physical and virtualized infrastructure.

The post holder will be responsible for systems administration with a focus on infrastructure (physical & cloud), networking and security technologies, to ensure our team receives nothing but the best experience.

You'll also be responsible for:

Security

Security
best practice focused.

Support Escalation
Reference point for 1st/2nd line support team at the corporate office and international teams
Project Delivery support Dorchester Collection IT management in the delivery of new systems and projects to enhance infrastructure and security
Incident Management participate as required in incident management and response.
Compliance implementation and adhering to IT standards and best practices
Collaboration with third parties, include providers, corporate IT team and regional IT teams

Required experience:

You'll bring your unique personality and passion to the role and the team.
You have experience working within a mid to enterprise size business, and you will have 5+ years previous experience in an IT Engineer, or similar, role working within a team and mentoring 1st & 2nd line team members
Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
Youll have experience using virtualisation technologies (Vmware essential), strong Microsoft Azure skills to an engineer level, network technologies LAN and WAN (Cisco Networks, Firewalls), competency with carrying out configuration changes, and good workingknowledge of vulnerability & patch management
Extensive working experience supporting Microsoft Server Technologies (Server 2012,2016,2019, SCCM/SCOM, Microsoft SQL, Exchange) is essential
Powershell scripting and understanding of Citrix XenApp and Netscaler is desirable
English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
Any of the following industry certifications are an advantage: ITIL, MCSA/MCSE, CCNA or Computing related degree
