    Description

    Wayman Education is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated KS2 Teacher to join a reputable 'Good' two-form primary school in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, Southend-on-Sea, Essex. The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching in a KS2 setting. Aside from that, the successful KS2 Teacher will work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience.

    Responsibilities of a KS2 teacher:

    · As a KS2 Teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.

    · Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses

    · Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry

    · Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.

    · Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents

    · Create a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learning

    · Collaborate with school management, teaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support for KS2 students.

    KS2 Teacher requirements:

    · Bachelor's degree or above in Education, or related field.

    · Teaching qualification and QTS.

    · At least 2 years of experience in teaching KS2 students.

    · Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

    · Passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality education.

    · Ability to create and present engaging and interactive lesson plans.

    · Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff.
