That's where you come inThe CASS Analyst
Working closely with the Senior CASS Analyst and reporting to the CFO, the CASS Analyst will be responsible for assisting the CASS team in complying with the FCA's CASS rules.
The role will also involve other aspects of Finance Operations such as managingISA administration, including ISA transfers and annual ISA reporting.
You will be a part of the wider Finance team working within Operational Oversight and interacting with the wider business, particularly with Customer Operations and TechnologyYour responsibilities will include:
- Completing the internal and external client money reconciliations for all client accounts (both retail and corporate) in line with the FCA's CASS sourcebook and in line with internal processes
- Identifying, investigating and resolving reconciliation breaks and escalating where required
- Identifying and documenting risks to compliance
- Ensuring all incidents are handled in a timely manner and logged appropriately
- Assisting with the completion of the monthly regulatory returns (CMAR)
- Challenging existing processes with a mindset of continuous improvement and automation
- Collaborating with finance team members and wider teams
About you
Ideally, you'll have 2-3 years of client money reconciliations experience within a retail investment-based business, handling and reconciling transactions at scale.
You'll be a quick learner and able to hit the ground running, operating in a busy environment and dealing with multiple internal teams including Finance, Customer Operations and Technology.
They are based in the heart of the City of London and operate a hybrid working model based on a purpose for being in the office.
That said, they do value collaboration and a team ethos and some of this can only effectively be done in a face to face environmentso tend to be in the office 2-3 days a week.
