    Working within the Group Finance team, this role is integral in ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of our financial results.

    The team are responsible for the Group's financial reporting, the coordination and running of the month and quarter end timetables for submission of results to the parent company, the monthly consolidation of results, certain areas of accounting that are centralized for the group, namely leases, and providing the technical expertise to the wider finance team.

    Reporting into the Finance Manager - Group Finance, this is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, in a growing global business that operates under a SOX environment and is transitioning to reporting under a multi-GAAP framework (US GAAP and IFRS), in multi currencies.

    Working with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, in a number of different countries, this is a dynamic role and an opportunity for a finance professional to make an immediate impact.

    The role is part of a 3-4 person team and is suited for a newly qualified accountant who is looking to make their first move into industry.

    Production of financial reporting disclosures for the subsidiary financial statements;
    Preparation for external audits and internal reviews by working closely with our auditors and ensuring that deliverables are prepared accurately and within set deadlines;
    Responsible for the accounting for leases across all group entities;
    Working with the wider finance team to drive the month-end process and ensuring tasks are completed to a high quality and on-time;
    Close interactions with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including Entity finance teams, Finance Business Partners, Tax and Treasury, and internal and external audit;

    The role is based in our Cambridge office where we operate hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office and 2 days per week can be work from home.

    You will have a professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent) and experience working within or auditing large, listed multinational businesses.

    You will need the ability to work alongside and influence senior members of staff.
    Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of IFRS.
    Strong excel skills including ability to reconcile and summarise large volumes of data.
