Description
QT Education is keen to recruit a science teacher for a co-educational, non-denominational secondary school in Bridgwater, Somerset. There are currently 975 students aged 11-16 on the school roll.The school is housed in a wonderful building completed in 2012 and boasts fantastic facilities. The school environment provides every opportunity for students to learn and achieve.
Ability to teach Art up to GCSE level
Ability to design teaching materials to sustain students' interest in the subject
Set culture standards for learning
Experience, Qualifications and Training:
We seek a qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Art and Photography
Must have QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent
Previous teaching experience required – suitable for ECT's or experienced teachers
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
Good understanding of supporting SEN students
Demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding and well-being of children and young people
Eligibility to work in a teaching role:
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
Enhanced DBS certificate which is either on the online 'Update Service' or be willing to apply for a new DBS certificate
Suitability to work with children and young people will form part of the selection process. As part of the shortlisting process an online search will be carried out.
It is an offence to apply for a role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
