    Description

    TXM Recruit are hiring for one of the UK's leading heating providers in the UK, we are looking for Heating Engineers who are keen on making the switch to Install Air Source heat pumps.

    We are ideally looking for an engineer who is experienced with good knowledge of heating systems. You will be fully trained up in the clients brand new training facility. The work will all be around your local area.

    • You'll work as part of a team to install low carbon technology in customers' homes - starting with Air Source Heat Pumps
    • You'll learn about new technologies and receive training in our state-of-the-art £10m training centre; giving you the confidence to install the kit, to find solutions to challenges and to share low carbon advice with our customers
    • You'll use your knowledge and experience of heat pump installations to deliver an outrageous experience
    • You'll review and collaborate on technical specifications and mechanical drawings
    • You'll commission Air Source Heat Pumps
    • You'll lead a team; be responsible for your crew and empower them to make on-the-fly decisions to do what's right for you and your customers

    * £37,000 - £38,000 plus overtime/on-call (OTE £38,000 - £42,000)

    Responsibilities:

    • Assemble, install, and maintain gas systems and equipment
    • Conduct inspections and tests on gas systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations
    • Troubleshoot and repair gas leaks or malfunctions
    • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
    • Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions related to gas systems

    Qualifications:

    • Commercial driving license to transport equipment and materials to job sites
    • Experience in plumbing, welding, or carpentry is preferred
    • Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
    • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
    • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
    • Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and resolve issues with gas systems
