Your roleWhat you'll be doing
Corpay^ is currently looking to hire a Compliance Officer within the UK Compliance division. This position falls under our Corpay^ line of business based in Swindon, UK.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, working 3 days a week onsite and 2 days from home.
What you'll be doing
The Compliance Officer will support the delivery of the day-to-day activities of the Compliance function within Corpay^ in the UK and Europe, ensuring the business is appropriately supported through organized, efficient, and controlled compliance activities.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support the Team Data Compliance activity, deputise for the DPO and act as data SME providing advice on Data Protection, Incident Management and Governance in line with UK and EU legislation.
- Act as joint lead (with the Director of Compliance) on matters of FCA & AML compliance, designing and monitoring compliance programs and being the primary point of contact and relationship manager with the FCA.
- Identify regulatory and compliance issues arising from the business' activities, and work with internal and external parties to craft solutions for related compliance.
- Liaise between the business and compliance and legal teams and SMEs in working through and solving for regulatory and compliance challenges.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Regularly interact with multiple stakeholders throughout the business (e.g., Sales, Account Management, Product, Marketing, etc.) to stay abreast of sales, marketing and product strategies and developments.
- Where required, review marketing collateral to ensure regulatory compliance, accuracy, and transparency.
- To assist with the design, development and documentation of Sarbanes-Oxley business controls and deliver associated testing.
- Support our broader Compliance Framework through scheduled reviews and governance including:
- Contractual and regulatory activity
- assist in implementation of frameworks and ongoing compliance reviews including Anti Money Laundering and other associated regulatory activity. Work with other stakeholders to collate, investigate, and seek resolution of incidents experienced within the business to mitigate further re-occurrence.
