    Description

    Contek Recruitment are working with a well-established Electrical contractor based in Bromsgrove who are looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their team.

    Who is open to learning the to Estimate on Electrical Projects.

    Position Overview:

    As an Experienced Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in our bidding and estimation process.

    You will work closely with our estimating team to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical components of M&E projects across various sectors.

    We are looking for an individual with significant experience in estimating who can lead our efforts in securing and executing projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Review project specifications, drawings, and documents to develop comprehensive electrical estimates.
    • Collaborate with the estimating team to analyse project requirements, identify potential risks, and propose value engineering solutions.
    • Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
    • Prepare and present detailed electrical cost estimates, including materials, labour, and associated costs, to senior management and clients.
    • Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations as necessary.
    • Maintain an up-to-date database of historical project cost data.
    Qualifications:
    • Substantial experience in electrical estimating within the Electrical industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and components.
    • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
    • Relevant electrical or engineering qualifications are advantageous.
