Description
Software Engineer

  • The salary for this position is £65,000 £75,000 plus bonus
  • Hybrid working 2 days office based in Aldgate area, 3 days WFH
Full Stack position: 60% back-end 40% front-end


Experience Required:

  • Prior experience working in similar developer role within financial services industry
  • Strong development practice skills (configuration management & version control)
  • Exposure to full project life cycle (inception to user acceptance testing to initial live running)

Desired Skills:

  • Insurance industry specific business knowledge (preferred)
  • Project management tools like VSO / JIRA
  • Good understanding of Software Configuration Management strategies and tools.
  • Degree educated with Mathematics background

Core Tech Skills:
.NET Framework 4.5 and 4.7 /.NET Standard /.NET Core 2.0 (C#6)

Angular (Modern JavaScript / SPA framework)
SQL Server 2012, 2014 & 2016
Excel VBA too
HTML5 / CSS3

jQuery / jQuery UI

T-SQL / SQL Server 2014

nUnit / xUnit / Microsoft Test Framework

GIT / VSTS
