Who we are?

We're on a mission to make sure everyone has access to the law.

Lawhive is an online platform for consumers and small businesses to get legal help for a fraction of the cost of a law firm. Our platform combines regulated human lawyers collaborating alongside the world's first AI lawyer specifically built for consumer legal work.

Equal access to the law is one of the biggest and most pressing unsolved problems in society today. We're passionate about levelling the playing field and believe access to the law should be a basic utility in society.

Our AI lawyer Lawrence is built on top of our own fine tuned LLM and recently passed the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE).

We have backing from leading US and UK VC funds and from founders and executives who've built some of the biggest startups like Bloom & Wild, Primer, SignalAI, Spotify, Meta, Curve, Monzo, Tide.

About the role

We're hiring a Founders Associate to help our founders develop the business, drive success & further our mission of making the law accessible to all.

What the job involves

Championing process and contributing to the creation of new processes
Tracking changes to process and keeping our existing playbooks up to date
Conducting research, analysing data, preparing presentations, leading projects and contributing to strategy
Compiling agendas for meetings, preparing materials, and ensuring execution of action points and follow-ups
Responding to client and solicitor enquiries, helping users understand how to use our technology
Supporting individual teams when an extra pair of hands is needed
Helping organise company events
Undertaking special assignments or projects as assigned by the founders

Requirements

You're opinionated AF and want to help us change the legal system for the better
Prior experience in a high growth environment (e.g. startup, your own company)
Operational Excellence — You have a track record of improving daily operations, including admin, data and reporting
Fearless in the face of numbers — You thrive in data heavy environments
You are highly organised and can demonstrate your attention to detail
You're motivated and ambitious. You are capable of learning and adapting in a fast changing startup environment
