    Description

    This is an opportunity to Join a dynamic and specialist probate team , where you'll be part of a collaborative environment. The team consists of a senior associate, two associates, four solicitors, and two paralegals, all dedicated to providing high-quality services. As part of our larger Private Client department, the probate team provides tailored specialist advice in this area.

    As a Senior Probate Solicitor, you will work closely with team members and primarily be responsible for:

  • Administering large and complex taxable testate and intestate estates, including applying business and agricultural property reliefs.
  • Handling estate administrations for national charities.
  • Preparing Wills and LPAs, especially for elderly clients where mental capacity may be in question, potentially requiring home and hospital visits.
  • Supervision of other solicitors and paralegals will also be part of your role. Due to the setup of the team, they would be open to meeting individuals at all levels for this role, from junior to senior level. Ideally you will be a member of STEP or ATT/CTA qualified. You will also have impressive client care needs, a solid understanding of lasting powers of attorney, the ability to work well within a team, make effective decisions quickly and be IT literate.
