Registered Nurse (RN) - 13 Week Temporary Assignment - Float Pool Central StaffingFacility Waldo County General Hospital
Schedule - Shift - Hours Temporary Full Time - Evening/Night Shift
This is a Full time, Short Term Temporary position - 13 weeks in duration. Salary commensurate with that of a Travel assignment.
Incumbents are eligible to apply for regular employment with a MaineHealth Entity following completion of assignment, if position matching skill sets is available.
Must be separated from a MaineHealth facility for greater than 6 months.A minimum three years acute care experience with one year critical care experience required.
Nurses are given the opportunity to train on an array of units at Waldo County General Hospital.
The assortment of floors and units assigned to will provide an opportunity to practice in various clinical areas throughout the hospital.
Having the ability to transition between departments including but not limited to medical-surgical, critical care, and emergency is a must when working in Central Staffing.
The Registered Nurse provides high quality patient and family centered care; in accordance with the scope of practice defined the Maine State Board of Nursing.
Through collaboration, delegation and communication with members of the healthcare team, the Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers care to a diverse population without discrimination in assigned areas.
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.A minimum three years acute care experience with one year critical care experience required. Ability to float and work within a variety of hospital inpatient settings and the emergency department.
As required by department, including Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring Women .
