Web, Cloud, Virtualisation, AWS, Azure, Infrastructure, Software Services
Solution Architect with (Web, Networking, Virtualisation or Cloud experience) required to deliver enterprise and solutions level architecture across a large, complex organisation, specifically within the Public Sector.
Lead Solution Architect - About the role:
The role will work closely with other internal teams including Technical & Delivery Leads, Product Managers to help define & influence a technology roadmap that matches technical and commercial aims.
A key part of the role will be to mentor to a small team of other Architects and technical leads.
Key function of the role is to provide technical assurance which ensures the successful deployment of the organisation's products within their client set-up that offers commercial stability and success.

Solution /Enterprise Architect - Key Responsibilities:
Analysis of the current technical environment and identify opportunities to recommend solutions for improvement / lead the remediation to manage risk and drive operational excellence of existing service
Act as a design authority and provide an assurance role, ensuring all architecture activities and deliverables (in-house and external outsourced) are produced to a high quality.
Provide architectural consulting expertise and direction to leadership Team and across IT departments, by effectively articulating the principles of infrastructure / software technology strategy and promoting best practice.
Evaluate existing technologies, internal functions, and development strategies within the Group to drive standards, processes, and best practices, and suggesting improvements where applicable.
Responsible for the architecture direction and strategy; definition of the technical aspects of projects, to include timely production of architectural designs, high level design, low-level design, and blueprints.
Use experience in AWS or Azure and past experience of software architecture to communicate with developers ( when required), as well as architecting solutions and mentoring others.
Solution / Enterprise Architect - Essential Technical Skills:
Ability to deliver enterprise and solutions level architecture across a large and complex organisation, especially within public cloud ( Azure or AWS) environments.
Demonstrable experience in design and delivery of a variety of Solution Architecture and strategies for the Cloud, comfortable across the entire technology stack.
Support the bid process including technical responses, cloud / infrastructure sizing
Ability to engage with staff, peers, board members, external partners to build relationships based on honesty, trust, respect, and integrity, and have an ability to inspire confidence
