Marlin operates a collection of lifestyle hotels, aparthotels & serviced apartments across the capital cities of London and Dublin. We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our highly successful team in Waterloo. Our Housekeeping Supervisor will support our Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the daily operation of Housekeeping.The Ideal Housekeeping Supervisor will work alongside senior management and team members, to ensure that the highest level of cleanliness is being delivered and the expectations of our guests are consistently exceeded.
Essential Experience
- Prior experience in a housekeeping role
- An understanding of hotel operations
- Passion for cleaning and up keeping standards
- Proven experience in motivating a team
- Clear communication skills, enabling you to effectively manage relationships cross departmentally
- Excellent attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the general day to day management of the housekeeping department
- Preparing task lists for housekeepers; ensuring all departures and mid stay cleans are scheduled correctly
- Taking ownership over the standards of the apartments
- Managing all stock and inventory alongside the Cluster Operations Manager
- Supporting with recruitment, retention and motivation of a small team
- Ensuring communication remains transparent both with your team and with senior stakeholders
