    Would you like to join a hardworking team who are committed to serving our service users with the best care possible? Warren Court is looking for a kind and passionate Forensic Charge Nurse to welcome into our Medium-Secure unit In Abbots Langley.


    At Warren Court, we provide a secure treatment pathway for men with Learning Disabilities detained under the Mental Health Act, which includes psychological, psychiatric, and behavioural therapies to promote and facilitate their return to life in society.

    As our new Charge Nurse, you will be welcomed into a safe and supportive staff team, who inspire one another in being the best version of ourselves for the benefit of those we care for.

    Working hours involve shifts, including some nights, weekends, and bank holidays.


    Our service-users are our number one priority, and the multidisciplinary staff team are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment in which we can deliver the best quality care.

    Within your role as Charge Nurse, you will also benefit from regular supervisions, bespoke training opportunities, and the co-construction of your own personal development objectives to ensure you continue to progress and develop professionally.

    Qualifications/Training
    RMN/RLDN or Dip/ Bsc (Hons) in Mental Health/Learning Disability Nursing ENB 998 / Preceptorship and Mentorship. Evidence of continuing professional development

    Ability to provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information, where persuasive, motivational, negotiating, training, empathic or reassuring skills are required.

    Experience of risk assessment and management.
    Understanding of legal framework MHA, MCA, DoL, safeguarding and social factors involved in care
    g brief therapy, cognitive therapy and anxiety management.
    Implementing quality improvement initiatives
