- Achieving cost savings will be a key focus for this role/department
- Ensuring we always have the ingredients & packaging we need when we need it, whilst making sure we're not over-stock
- Involvement in key projects like building out the warehouse (production room build, racking etc)

The Role
We're looking for someone to shape the future of the buying function of the business, stamping their mark not only on the department, but on the whole company.
The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to make a genuine, tangible impact on the organisation, whilst making the role their own. It represents a real chance to decide what route your career takes next.
You will have a wide scope of responsibilities and a working understanding of the end-to-end lifespan of product within the business, from sourcing ingredients & packaging all the way through to the finished product leaving the building.

Bringing a wide range of knowledge and experience to the position, you will have worked in a fast-paced FMCG environment and possess a positive, can-do attitude.
You'll be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of all aspects of the buying function and ideally have direct experience within a food production environment, or show willing to learn and adapt to as required.
You will naturally be a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills who can successfully connect with team members at all levels.
