Infrastructure Analyst - Bristol Based - Circa £34K + Excellent Benefits

Overview:


An excellent opportunity has arisen to work with one of the leading automotive retailers, representing a number of the motoring industry's biggest and most prestigious manufacturers.

The chosen Infrastructure Analyst will join a growing team to support, monitorand maintain the Group's IT Infrastructure to ensure it is high performing, optimised and secure.

Role and Responsibilities:


  • Propose upgrades and replacements, and oversee implementation of new IT systems for multiple systems
  • Ensure system upgrades and scheduled works are carried out correctly and in line with the IT strategy
  • Assist with new build and refurbishment projects and ensure all new major system implementations have detailed documentation
  • Provide out of hours emergency on call support on a scheduled rotation
  • Work with the Infrastructure team to ensure that backups are managed, maintained and documented
  • Assist and build a strong relationship with the service desk team

Essential Skills and Experience:


  • 4+ years' experience in an IT support role
  • Microsoft Active Directory (on prem and hybrid expertise)
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Microsoft Office 365 admin


  • Networking understanding

  • LAN / WAN / firewall
  • VoIP & Wi-Fi experience

Desirable Experience:


  • Experience working on OneDrive, SharePoint or Teams projects
  • Avaya IP Office Enterprise
  • Previous automotive experience

Package:

- £30,000 - £34,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
