Background Information:

ADS Laser_ is the premier
metal laser cutting, precision folding, fabricating and finishing company in the UK. From Bespoke to Volume Solutions we work on a wide range of projects from intricately designed Point of Sale materials to volume components that find their way into Rail systems for systems for a range of large high profile industry customers.

Role Profile:

We have a vacancy on the back shift working Monday to Thursday 15.15hrs to 01.15am, this role attracts £1.70 per hour shift premium.

It is essential that you have a valid FLT license.

The role is to pack & dispatch goods, in accordance with customer requirements, ensure quantities & quality is correct, to assist the Dispatch Supervisor with making transport arrangements, loading transport & customers with goods & assist with inbound goods, to enable the effective & efficient on time delivery of quality product to our customers, working to company processes, standards & operating procedures.

In addition, the role is to assist with the Goods In, unloading & loading lorries.

Main Duties:

Ensure that parts are assembled correctly according to the information & drawings provided in the job pack
Complete checks of job packs to ensure orders are accurate & in accordance with customer requirements
Pack & prepare items for dispatch including quality & quantity checks
Arrange transport or collection of orders
Lifting & moving products
Assist the Supervisor when required
Receive goods in & confirm correct quantities received
Check the quality of incoming & outgoing components & arrange replacements on incorrect or damaged items
Loading & unloading of goods in & out
Ensure all pallets are correctly labelled with material thickness & purchase order number
Carry out daily checks on Fork Lift Trucks
Ensure front of house is kept clear & access to the bays is not obstructed
Liaise with customers & suppliers when needed
Trouble shoot & resolve issues swiftly
Report any issues that affect performance to your line manager
Meet daily & weekly targets & report progress daily to your line manager
Carry out work with a focus on high quality output
Any reasonable management request.
Valid Fork Lift Truck License
IT proficient, MS Office, TruTops & Sage (Training will be provided on bespoke software)
Confident in dealing with customers & suppliers
Understand & read engineering job packs desirable
Selfmotivated & focused, with a flexible attitude
Good attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy & a commitment to quality
Able to work on & use own initiative & problem solve
Strong communication, team working & people skills
Demonstrate a professional & courteous attitude
Act with integrity & honesty
